10.11.2023
- Seven researchers from IMDEA Nanociencia are among the 2% most influential, according to the latest ranking elaborated by researchers at Stanford University.
- This classification reinforces the reputation of IMDEA Nanociencia as center of excellence in research.
Madrid, November 10th, 2023. The lists assesses scientists for career-long citation impact until the end of 2022, and for citation impact during the single calendar year 2022. Seven researchers from IMDEA Nanociencia are included in the lists: Francisco Guinea, Nazario Martín, Johannes Gierschner, Fernando Martín, Rodolfo Miranda Emilio M. Pérez and José I. Urgel.
The Stanford database provides standarised information on citations, h-index and a composite indicator that evaluates the citations to papers in different authorship positions, all based in Scopus data. The score focuses on impact (citations) rather than productivity (number of publications).
We celebrate the research excellence of our centre, with the distinction of seven of our researchers between the top 2% worldwide.
