Dra. Iolanda Di Bernardo
Iolanda Di Bernardo obtained her PhD in Materials Science in 2018 from Sapienza, Università di Roma. After a brief experience as a research assistant at the Australian National University (Canberra, Australia), she carried out a postdoctoral fellow at the Monash University node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Future Low Energy Electronics Technologies (Melbourne, Australia), working with Prof. Michael Fuhrer and Dr. Mark Edmonds. In 2022 she joined the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid as a 'María de Zambrano' fellow, and she is currently carrying out her investigations as a 'Marie Curie' fellow at IMDEA Nanociencia. Her research focus is the synthesis of 2D materials and the study of their structural and electronic properties via a combination of microscopic and spectroscopic techniques.
