Alejandro García Cañas

Alejandro graduated in Physics from Universidad de Salamanca (USAL) in 2021, having experienced a one-year Erasmus exchange at the University of Bristol in 2019. He studied for his master´s degree in Energy at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). He obtained an internship scholarship at IMDEA Energía in the division of Photoactivated processes working on the development of multifunctional materials for the production of solar fuels in 2022. Currently, he is a research assistant at IMDEA Nanociencia fabricating nano-functional surfaces and employing a roll-to-roll device for making Fresnel lenses as solar concentrators.
