Rocío Mesa Sánchez

Rocío graduated in Biotechnology from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) in 2019. She developed her bachelor's thesis about cryopreservation of advanced therapies at the University Hospital Fundación Jimenez Diaz. She studied for a Master's degree in medical Biotechnology at the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville (UPO) in 2020, and she carried out her thesis in Cabimer, studying the differentiation of iPSC to retinal pigment epithelium (RPE).  Currently, she is a research assistant at IMDEA Nanociencia where she is working on neuronal cell progenitor differentiation through physical and electrical stimuli.
