Capabilities of the atomic force microscopy lab at IMDEA Nanociencia

Abstract: 

Atomic force microscopy (AFM) is a powerful and widely used technique in biology, nanotechnology and materials science. AFM provides nanoscale topography, nanomechanical information and nanomanipulation capabilities. In this seminar, the current instruments and capabilities of the AFMs at IMDEA Nanociencia will be presented. I will show general applications of the technique together with specific examples of the work previously done within the service. The guidelines for training and access to the service will also be presented.
