Abstract:
Over the recent past, there has been an increasing interest in enabling
hydrogen-based energy technologies including fuel cells and electrolyzers.
This presentation will deal with a brief overview of these areas followed by
some of our recent and ongoing work on fuel cells, especially in alkaline
media. Our early work on the hydrogen (HER) and oxygen (OER) evolution
reactions will be discussed along with some preliminary electrolyzer results.
The presentation will also cover some emerging opportunities and future
directions.
