Ignacio Ramos Aranda
Ignacio Ramos Aranda holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), where he also completed an interuniversity Master's degree in Organic Chemistry.
Throughout his academic journey, he has built a solid foundation in experimental research by collaborating with leading scientific institutions.
He undertook an external internship at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC-ICTP), focusing on polymer composites. Subsequently, he joined the research group of Professor Nazario Martín, where he carried out both his Bachelor's and Master's theses. His work there centered on the design, synthesis, and characterization of molecular nanographenes, further strengthening his expertise in advanced carbon-based nanostructures.
He is currently working as PhD student at IMDEA Nanoscience Institute, where his research focuses on the development and study of mechanically interlocked carbon nanotubes and their applications in materials science and composite systems.
