Preparatory webinar ERC-2021 StG / CoG
The aim of the webinar is to help potential applicants plan and prepare competitive proposals for the ERC StG/CoG calls, providing best practices for the writing of B1 and B2.
Preparing a competitive ERC StG/CoG application requires a sound understanding of both the aim and focus of the call itself, as well as what ingredients should be included in the proposal. In this webinar applicants will review the formal evaluation criteria and fill these with content, determining what is and what is not an ERC StG/CoG project. They will also review the proposal as well as the evaluation process, to make sure applicants know what parts will get evaluated at what time, by whom, and under what circumstances. Finally, they will go through B1 and B2 in detail, providing hand-on tips and best practices for how to prepare these in terms of structure, content and focus.
Webinar content
The webinar will consist of an online presentation, followed by a 30 min Q&A session. The total length will be 2.5-3 hours, depending on the number of questions.

After the webinar up to 8 pre-proposals will be screened and evaluated, with the aim to help potential applicants detect if their project ideas and profiles match the spirit of the ERC StG/CoG call. A template will be provided to those interested in the screening of pre-proposals two weeks before the webinar.
