The MADRID IS SCIENCE Fair is a science outreach event aimed at school communities and the general public which, through the participatory action of students, aims to promote scientific vocations by eliminating gender barriers, communicate the science and innovation carried out in our region, stimulate the interest and curiosity of young people in science and show how research influences economic development and the welfare of society.
It is conceived as a comprehensive showcase of the Region of Madrid's R&D&I capabilities for the construction of a sustainable future, showing citizens the response that Science, Technology and Innovation can provide to the challenges facing the planet.
The entire talent value chain in our region - from educational centres to research centres and innovative companies, including Madrid's universities and institutions - will be represented at IFEMA so that all the people of Madrid can find out how Science, Technology and Innovation contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Madrid is Science Fair aims to showcase our region's excellence in Science, Technology and Innovation, inviting the people of Madrid to take part in the processes by which science is created and transmitted. A space in which to experiment, create, discover and share.
IMDEA Nanoscience participates with a joint stand with the other IMDEA institutes. Visit us at IFEMA during the event in March.
